From Julia’s Journal:

"I generally consider myself a skeptic. I needed a way to bridge logic vs faith in spirituality. I realized that if God (or Source/The Universe) created the laws of physics, then prayer shouldn't break those laws—it should work with them.

My journey wasn't about abandoning science; it was about writing a skeptic’s guide to spirituality. The mix of prayer and meditation, combined with mental health mindfulness, became the only way to stay safe, balanced, and sound."

The Conflict: The Skeptic's Dilemma

For most of my life, I felt like I had to choose sides. If you are into science, you can't be into religion, because somehow it "invalidates" the facts. If you are a believer, you aren't supposed to question the dogma.

I spent years stuck in the middle. I wanted to believe, but I needed rational explanations for the unexplained. I needed proof that I wasn't just believing in make-believe.

About Julia

The Physics of "Asking"

Research by Dr. Larry Dossey suggests that "Intercessory Prayer" often yields results in double-blind medical studies. This suggests that consciousness can affect physical reality at a distance. This isn't magic; it's entanglement. It helps us have unexplained phenomena explained through a scientific lens.

The Observer Effect

In Quantum Physics, the Observer Effect suggests that the mere act of observing a particle changes its behavior. By focusing your attention, you collapse a wave of probability into a single reality. This provides a fascinating look into physics and the spiritual realm.

  • The Scientific View: Prayer is focused observation. It is Non-Local Consciousness.

  • The Spiritual View: It is a dialogue with the Creator.

 The Method:

Talking to a Best Friend

How do you actually do it? Do you need to kneel? Do you need to speak Latin?

In Jewish mysticism, there is a practice called Hitbodedut—talking to God in your native language, completely informally, as if you were talking to your best friend. This is the cornerstone of my daily spiritual routine.

Julia's "Woohoo!" Approach

"I try to say a formal prayer every day to start with a calm mindset, knowing I am protected. But the real dialogue happens spontaneously.

I never beg. I consider myself part of the Whole. So when I pray, I feel like I am talking to a beloved family member. I literally catch myself saying things like, 'Wooohoooo God! You’re awesome!!!!' Not very formal, huh?

Something tells me God, Source, The Universe (or whatever we call Him) just laughs at my shenanigans. It is about connection, not performance."

In my book, Quiet All Along, I describe a specific vision of Christ that occurred 20 years ago—long before I was praying. Even for a skeptic, some experiences leave you unable to deny the existence of Love.)

Manifestation: It’s Not Magic, It’s Work

Let’s clear up a major misconception. You cannot just sit on a pillow, visualize a new life, and wait for it to drop into your lap. That isn't spirituality; that is wishful thinking.

The Equation: Intention + Gratitude + Action

Manifestation is not about controlling the external world; it is about aligning your internal world so that you can recognize opportunities when they arise.

The "Secret" Ingredient God wants us to succeed, but we are here for a reason: to learn, to grow, and to create. Finding your soul's purpose requires ethics and determination. If you are trying to manifest something that harms others or serves only your ego, you are swimming upstream. True power comes when your will aligns with Divine will.

When I finally understood this, the result wasn't that obstacles disappeared. It was that I changed. I stopped seeing obstacles as blocks and started seeing them as detours in the right direction. I became an active participant in my life, investigating the signs and nudges from the Universe that confirmed I was on the right track.

Place the Intention:

Stop focusing on what you don't want. Focus entirely on what you do want. I use my manifestation journals to script my future as if it is happening today. This clarity signals to the Universe exactly where you want to go.

The Shift

Express Gratitude:

This is the physics of spirituality. When you thank the Universe for help that hasn't arrived yet, you collapse the timeline. You move from a state of "lacking" (which pushes things away) to a state of "having" (which magnetizes them to you).

Do the Work:

This is where the magic meets the pavement. You must meet the Universe halfway. If you ask for a harvest, you must be willing to plant the seeds and tend the soil.

The Answer:

How to Hear the "Yes"

If prayer is you talking to the Divine, then Intuition is the Divine talking back. But what does that sound like? Is it a voice? A burning bush?

Usually, it is much quieter. It is the science of intuition at work.

How I Know:

If I send gratitude for something and it is meant for me, I know it as surely as I know the sun will rise tomorrow. I just watch things unfold, and sooner or later, I find the 'gift' I prayed for right before my eyes. This method saved my life once—a story I detail in the book."

"For me, the answer just... happens. It isn't a booming voice. It is a deep 'knowing'—a moment of synchronicity and what it means to me personally.
